The baby in the cake

While I was browsing through Youtubes for exciting videos, I came upon this video which entails a baby as the cake itself. At first the photo did shocked. I said to myself, how anyone could do this to a baby. As I continue watching the video it did show how do they make the baby cake. As it turns out, the baby cake wasn’t really a baby but a cake that was created from flour and some ingredients for baking. I have laugh at myself for thinking that the video was indeed a true baby. I wonder if I could order this cake and sent it to my nephew as a unique baby gifts. Wonder what would my sister would have thought when she sees it for the first place. I just hope that she wouldn’t a get a hurt attack from it. Here is the video that gave me a shock.

I’m just wondering, would you eat something like this?

Knoll, not a competion for Wikipedia

I’m always searching for new topics on my blogs and I found out that most bloggers today are talking about Knoll so I tried to search for it on the search engines like Google and Yahoo but found no results for it except that it is a character on Warcraft. I almost given up on my quest to find it from the source until one day while I was writing new post to my lyrics blog that I notice something that caught my eye on my Blogger platform. Yes, it was Knoll, I found it at a last so here am now trying to review this new tool from Google which some are claiming that would compete with Wikipedia.

I got into the site and find out that it is more of a community of writers because it is full of articles just like Wikipedia but it doesn’t really look very enticing at all. The website design is not that good like Wikipedia. Right now there are only few articles their so I don’t see it would attract a lot of visitor with the way it is going right now. Who knows if it would be successful? With Google on its back, this is very possible but I think that it would never replace Wikipedia like most people are claiming right now. Sure that you can earn with its sharing revenue when you write for them. The whole system works like as if you are writing for Associated Content wherein you are going to earn a few cents for every exposure the article gets, except that you must have an Adsense account to earn from them.

Gmail is concerned with your safety

I’m sure that security is the first concerned of everyone when we are going to banks to do transaction with them. What they do is that they are hiring only those trusted people so that they can be sure that our account will be safe and thus will be given the best service that they have to offer.

Remember that credit cards and ATM cards tends to have a password and if we enter the wrong pin then the account will be blocked. It must be enabled by bank employees so that it can be used again on transacting.

The same thing can be considered on our account online. Gmail has always made sure that our account with them is safe if we are using the https. HTTPS will then encrypt the password while it passes to their server so that the users can rest assure that no one knows about them. Not even the employees of Gmail will know their password. The downfall of using https is that it makes your browser slow because it tries to encrypt those passwords.

Gmail has been thinking about this and has come to conclusion that not everyone likes to use the feature. What is working for Jose won’t work for John. Now Gmail lets you set your browser to use which one do you like. You can set it to http so that it can run fast but unprotected or you can set it as https and enjoy the safeties but slow.

Sezwho doesn’t support Wordpress 2.6

It seems that the partnership between the Entrecard and Sezwho has its advantage and at the same time some disadvantage too. I’m sure that a lot of bloggers are now enjoying the features that Sezwho incorporates to your blog, whoever I couldn’t say the same thing to the ones who upgraded their dashboard to Wordpress 2.6 that is launched recently. They aren’t supporting it.

At first, I was very happy to find a way to know a bit more about my commentators and have tried to avail of this feature by giving them the information they needed but I was disappointed because I couldn’t use the said feature because they are only supporting Wordpress 2.6. So, my application on their service is hanging right now. Why should I avail of the service when it won’t work on my blog? What’s the point?

I’m just hoping that they would be creating a new version that supports Wordpress 2.6, I’m sure that many will be availing of their service once they do so.

Comment Hunt: Genuine?

In the tradition of Comment Kahuna one of the commentators said that I should try this site because they are also great and they are free too. So here am I and trying to review the said site. The site that I’m talking about is CommentHunt(dotcom).

I have already used this site last month but I got tired and doubted the sites if they are genuine Do Follow blogs. I ask myself if this can be done since I notice that the search engine that they are using is Adsense search bar. I’m thinking that they are only trying to make money from my clicks and that they would put anything in there, even if it is a no follow blog. I know that like me most webmaster doesn’t like to be fooled by anybody and let them get all the money from my clicks. This is just a common reaction like you, I got into blogging to make money.

BTW, the site also lets you purchase a paid comment for your blog. With this in mind then why should I believe in the genuine of the site? The site is made t made money from the paid comments and also from Adsense Search.

Comment on a Do Follow blog

I have been always searching for ways to get more back links for my site and after hours of surfing through the Net I have come upon a site wherein you can download a free software. I never really know that this software is free now because I know about it for months now and remember it as paid software. The software that I’m talking about is Comment Kahuna .

Comment Kahuna is software that will help you to find those site that is s do follow blog with the highest PR. Of course, if you are a veteran site owner, I’m expecting that you already know about the do follow blog but for those who are only new to owning their site. I doubt that you already knew about this and this is why am going to explain it to you. A Do Follow blog will get your site indexed on search engines quickly thus Google will give your pr. A PR is otherwise known as Page Rank, this is how Google sees your site. Your site will get more exposure if it got a higher page rank. Getting more back links is the key to get in the top spot of Google.

There are lots of blogs in the internet and this is the reason you must find those Do Follow blogs to post on because the No Follow blogs will never help to gain more traffic on search engines. With the help Comment Kahuna I have manage to get 10 pr 6 and pr 5 blogs that has the same niche in a few minutes.

Here is the site wherein you can download the free software. All you have to do is to provide them with your name and email address because they will be sending some newsletter for you. If you ask me, this is just a small fee for what you are going to get. You can download the free copy after that. Don’t forget that you must activate it first by registering it. Give the same email address when you downloaded the software otherwise you will never get the activation code need to activate it.

Entrecard: Dropping the Quick Drop pages

I’m sure that many of you has already receive a copy of this letter which I’m about to tackle. Entrecard has announced that they would be banning those who have some quick drop page on heir site. I have created a quick drop page for my account and now I have take it our when I have receive the email from them. I would be so foolish to get my account banned just for receiving a few credits. While it is true that those quick drop pages has been a menace to Entrecard, I think that they are acting just a way off because those quick drop pages has help many Entrecard users to earn more credits and thus get more traffic to their sites. The email said that starting July 1, they will be banning those who have them on their site. For those, who are dropping some credits on the quick drop pages would be getting some penalty for doing so.

I believe that they who have those quick drop pages on their site but I don’t think that they have a clue on who are dropping on those sites. I think that it is just bluff, so that users wouldn’t drop on them anymore. I have been a quick drop dropper for more than a month now and I could say that it has helped me to earn more credits quickly. If they will be giving me some penalty for dropping credits on those quick drop pages then I would have to settle for other ways to get some traffic on my site. Entrecard is not the only place where you can get lots of free traffics. I think that I would be focusing more on Mybloglog and on Twitter. I have not yet to work on these two social sites so I guess that this would be the time to do so.

2012: The year the Internet ends

While I was browsing through the PMT forums, a thread got my attention. The thread is saying something about the internet stopping at the year 2012. We are disheartened by what we have read. A lot of PMT members have different opinions on this stuff. With all the arguing they are doing, I come to the point that I should take an action about this by educating my readers about this.

Here are the reports that I found while browsing the site.

Update : Bell Canada and TELUS (formerly owned by Verizon) employees officially confirm that by 2012 ISP’s all over the globe will reduce Internet access to a TV-like subscription model, only offering access to a small standard amount of commercial sites and require extra fees for every other site you visit. These ‘other’ sites would then lose all their exposure and eventually shut down, resulting in what could be seen as the end of the Internet.

Dylan Pattyn * , who is currently writing an article for Time Magazine on the issue, has official confirmation from sources within Bell Canada and is interviewing a marketing representative from TELUS who confirms the story and states that TELUS has already started blocking all websites that aren’t in the subscription package for mobile Internet access . They could not confirm whether it would happen in 2012 because both stated it may actually happen sooner (as early as 2010). Interviews with these sources, more confirmation from other sources and more in-depth information on the issue is set to be published in Time Magazine soon.

It seems that they are going to reduce the usage of Internet by having the users to additional fee if they want to browse another site. With this, the smaller sites will closed down because no one will be paying for them.

What can we do?

We could support Google be informing everyone about this. Write about this on your blogs and let your readers know about it. There is still a chance that we could save the internet. We can sign the petition on stopping this which is sponsored by Google. The movement is called Net Neurality. You can see the whole petition here .

Know your subscribers

Since starting blogging a few months ago, I have always thought of knowing my subscriber. I have searched and searched on how I can know who are subscribers and have failed by doing so. One day I have read about a post on John Chow on How to make your blog sticky and it mention that he is sing Aweber for his subscriber. Curious on what is Aweber is, I got into the site and began investigating.

Upon going to the site I have learned that it is an email marketing campaign used to track and analyze the subscriber to your feeds. Of course, they are charging something for this but the charge is a just minimal that a normal blogger can afford. They charge from $20/500 subscriber, if you have more subscriber than 25,000, you got to call them to make some packages for you.

Who is Aweber?

Founded in 1998 to create email marketing software, we help small businesses automate email follow up and newsletter delivery for website visitors.

Our growing 30-person team shares a wealth of experience and knowledge about permission-based email marketing with the over 41,300 current customers we work with daily.

Included in the packages are email newsletters to which you can choose from 50 templates to be used on your site, Website sign-up forms which will allow you to turn anonymous visitors into prospects, Follow-up auto responder which will create long lasting relationship because of the automated personalize messages, Email web analytics which will allow you to track activities done by subscriber, and lastly is the Top notch email delivery.

How do I see my subscriber?

Of course, this is the most important question of all and I have provided the picture to guide you on searching for your subscribers.
