I have been browsing the BST section these past few days so that I could learn something new. Sometimes I am just asking and sometimes I am trying the service. I am doing this so that I will learn the method they are using. Be it beneficial or not on your site, the important thing here is that you learn from your mistakes. Money shouldn’t a be a concern since it comes and go while the knowledge that you gain from interacting with different webmasters are timeless and can be used over and over again.

I started making money with forum posting back on December 2008. I remember that the first earnings I got are just $6.50 and now I have been able to get an average of $150 a month from a combination of forum posting and reviewing other sites. I have gone a long way for a guy who doesn’t know where to get his monthly fees for his broadband connection, although this doesn’t look like a lot of money for most of you. This has help me to pay my bills and bought some few stuffs for me. I have been able to renovate my room which I am not able to do when I was still teaching because my salary is too low.

Now, I have been thinking of going to untested water and see if I could make it there. What I mean is that I am going to do my best to become successful on affiliate marketing. This will be the first time that I am going to do affiliate marketing and I have created a site about it. It is just a niche blog whose topic is about health. I know that I could share a few since this is a bout a disease my family and I am have been suffering from. At first I never really intended to start a site like this because I am too comfortable with what I am doing but after my brother died. I realized that I do need to know about this sickness. This is the first reason why I have opened this blog and the second reason would be is to share my knowledge regarding this disease. Of course, I am also hoping that someday I could earn from this site. Whoever started a site without intending to earn from it must be an idiot or a very rich person who don’t know what to do with their life.

I knew that in some countries, school has already finished but here in the Philippines it just started.  The media has been covering this school opening.  Much of it has to do with monitoring the A-H1N1 virus which has already infected 12 Filipinos.

Aside from the virus the media also covers the  want to know if the school has all the facilities that the students are going to use.   Most of the school administrators hasn’t made an action about this.  I should know since I was a teacher then, during those days I notice that the school wher I teach in have a toilet that needs some repair.  The door was already broken and the school principal said that they don’t ahve the money for the repair eventhough I can see how big they are earning.   Now, you may be asking why I am tackling this issue since this is about making money.  I believe that providing everything that you can can help you in gaining more readers.   So the moment that you set your blog, you must put all the necessary plugin and keep on updating it with timely content.  I know that I haven’t been taking care of this blog for almost 2 months and I finally realized that I have created a mistake.  I now vow that I won’t commit that same mistake again.

After this blog pr has been penalized by Google, I really thought that this would be the end of my days on making money from this blog. I was shock that when I login in to my REviewMe and PayU2blog account that I have an assignment waiting for me to accept. Now, I realize that pr is not everything. I have seen this phase all over DigitalPoint but I was only laughing at the thought of that because I am only monetizing this site through sponsored reviews.

I’m thinking of having an affiliate product on this site but then again if I do that then I wouldn’t be getting any assignment from paid-to-post companies.

I’m sure that you can see the stripe ad above. The stripe ads are saying is notifying ever visitors about the contest that I am having.

I don’t understand what is happening with toblogs because the other day they said that they are closing the site because it can’t be supported by there host. Now they are saying that sent me this email.

Since we’ve started to collect meta data about blogs (through blog posts), we have been working on making it easier to disseminate that information. So today we have updated the Blog Post Categories pages: http://www.topblogs.com.ph/posts/

You can now view how popular a category based on the last 1500 posts, the last 48 hours, the past month, and from day one.

This data is updated every 4 hours, and should prove to be interesting to watch over time.

As for the future -

As we gear up on breaking into the top 500 (according to Alexa), we are beginning to manually review every single blog in our directory. In a few days we will be rolling out an update that will change the submission process from automatic to manual. While this increases our work greatly, it will ensure that no more spammers and non-Filipino blogs will appear on TopBlogs.com.ph anymore.

We are also working on a redesign - while the current design has gotten us this far, a breath of fresh air will be a welcome change. It will also include the ability to use a customized TopBlogs.com.ph image - thus letting you create an image that fits your blog’s design perfectly.

With almost 3000 blogs active on TopBlogs.com.ph every day, I am looking forward to seeing how the site continues to grow.

I just receive an email from Top Blogs that they are closing there operation because of too much bandwidth. I’m using them on my entertainment blog and am sad for what will happen to this site. I am using them to get some more exposure for my entertainment blog.

The email also stated that I could promote my blogs on visionmine. So I have done so. They have a form for submitting so submission would be so easy.

One thing that is bothering on them closing out TopBlog is that why are they closing it out for high CPU usage? I mean they could buy a bigger hosting or sell it to someone that is willing to buy a new hosting for that site.

After months of not being active on dropping cards on Entrecard, I am proud to say that I am active again because I need a few more credits for the contest that I am holding right now, although the credit that I have can sustained it. I am dropping again some entrecard credit so that I could accumulate a good number of ec credits. I’m planning to advertise my blogs in the next few months. I am glad to say that after months of doing blogging I have the courage now to do affiliate marketing which I believe that could make me more money than sponsored review. I am really getting tired of writing up those reviews that is giving a one time earning. I am forced to abide with the laws of each paid posting service that I have sign-up.

I was getting quite some good money but I decided that it is time to broaden my income and thus affiliate marketing is the one that cold do that for me. I am still going to accept some paid reviews from time to time but I am going to limit on taking assignments since I believe that most readers of my blog doesn’t really appreciate paid content. I think that I am doing some good review but sometimes I can’t admit that I am just doing paid review and thus some readers might think that I am recommending that product.
