I have long been hearing about Wordpress 2.7 and most of them are saying that it is great. It has a nice dashboard that could be match by it good performance; although the said information is true we can’t deny that Wordpress never did issue a new version that is already complete. This is the reason why we are always having some new version in the first place. Another to solve some problem that they are doing is to issue some new releases of the said version. We have seen this before on Wordpress 2.6, it has a lots of version and yet Wordpress seems no stoping anytime soon on improving their performance.

I remember when they are still announcing Wordpress 2.6.2 that they said there was a vulnerability on Wordpress 2.6.1 that they are going to solve it on Wordpress 2.6.2. Anyway the vulnerability back then is within the password itself and I think that they have already solve that. Now the said vulnerability is with the feed. This must have been the one I’m encountering with my feed since it is fetching my entertainment blog Palabuzz. I just hope that this will be fixed once I have download and install the latest version.

I have just recently upgraded my wordpress to Wordpress 2.6.1 and now they are having another upgrade. They said that recent wordpress platform makes any possible attempt to your blog a reality. The attacker can change your password to your account and thus it would create a terrible change in your account. Of course, I’m sure that no blog owner would want their own blog to be hack or to be managed by other third party not known to them.

I remember reading a blog article about hacking. This was 2 months ago so I couldn’t remember the name of that blog. He said that the hacker has change something on his Wordpress although not seriously as changing the password, luckily for him that the attacker isn’t bad at all or else he would have lost his blog.

Stephen Esser said that this is not easy but it could be made if the attacker is that serious of their attacks. No one knows your password but because of the weakness of mt_rand(). Updating your blog now to Wordpress 2.6.2 could help you save your blog now and it could also save a lot of headaches in the future.

Wordpress Stats is one of those plugins that WordPress user must have because he/she can track their visitors from different location like search engines, blogs, forums, etc. I remember that I was so happy using this because I could now track my visitors, where they are coming from, what they click on my site and the most important is I could see my stats without viewing my site. Back when I was still using blogger I have to go to my site to see my stats. I could say that this plugin certainly is a must have for everyone.

Max Blog Favicon . This will allow you to brand your site by having your own blog. The branding can be seen on the web address on the browser. I’m thinking of thinking of using once I have a design of my own.

All in One SEO Pack . This is the best plugin when it comes to SEO. This will help you to get on top on most search engine. I am happy with this plugin because it has help my visitors to see my blog by using a search engine. Although, my blog is just new I can see the effect because search engines are sending me traffics.

All in One Adsense and YPN . I had just joined Adsense and I find this plugin a real help because I am able to setup my campaign by using this plugin. I find it easy and convenient to use. What I like about this plugin is that you can randomly change the size of the campaign that you have without login in to your admin panel. This plugin will do it all for, thus giving your site a new look each time the visitor is loading your site.

Google XML Sitemaps . I have learn to like this plugin because it had help to add a sitemap to my site with the need to add those code to your site. Before adding, I remember using other XML sitemaps with the use of other sites. I’m sad with thte result because it takes a long time and they are only able to create a sitemap for one of my page. I am amazed with this plugin because all I have done is to install this and run it.

Addthis Social Widget Drop . This is my favorite widget when I was still using blogger for my first blog. Now that I’m using Wordpress I can say that glad to use this with noc codes to add. It had saved me time on typing those url’s of the social book marking sites that I want to used.
